For Nike, 2022 marks a watershed moment in many aspects of the company, most notably the Swoosh’s 50th year in business. The brand is also commemorating the 40th anniversary of the Air Force 1.
Nike has shown its love for the Air Force 1 all year, with celebratory colorways and a new silhouette, the Air Force 1 Mid React. After debuting in “Black Neon,” the Air Force 1 Mid React now comes in “Summit White.”
The lack of color in this “Summit White” emphasizes the silhouette’s distinct styling. The Air Force 1 Mid React foregoes the traditional all-leather upper in favor of a leather forefoot and a transparent mesh towards the heel, including the React foam-infused sole unit. In this “Summit White” colorway, a heel strap and a large pull tab add to the style’s construction, while white covers the entire shoe.
The Air Force 1 Mid React “Summit White” has yet to be released by the Swoosh. Take a closer look at the pair above, and keep an eye out for this colorway to be released by Nike and select retailers in the coming months.
