no-brainer* Presents Nike Dunk Low “Bumblee” Concept

Following the release of a highly popular pair of conceptual “Fujiwara Tofu Shop” Dunk Lows inspired by the Toyota AE6 Trueno in Initial D, no-brainer* has released a number of automotive-inspired Nike sneaker designs.

The designs are inspired by Japanese Bszoku motorcycle culture, custom low riders, Tyler, the Creator‘s pink Call Me If You Get Lost automobile, the Suzuki Ninja from A Moment of Romance, and, most recently, the Volkswagen Beetle from Bumblebee (2018).

No-brainer* dresses the pairs in a faded yellow base with traces of black around the collars, laces, and tongue tabs, resulting in a more minimalist appearance than past decal-heavy renditions. The shoes replicate the much-needed-wash style of the Transformer, which posed as a yellow desert buggy, with pre-distressed sand streaks.

The laterals have silver Swooshes, and the heel counter has the Autobots emblem printed on it. Sandy white midsoles and black rubber outsoles complete the look.
