Onitsuka Tiger Celebrates Year of the Rabbit With Fluffy MEXICO 66 Silhouette

To celebrate the lunar new year, Onitsuka Tiger has created a limited edition version of its distinctive MEXICO 66™ silhouette.

The next pairs are inspired by next year’s Zodiac sign, the Rabbit, and come in a crisp blend of “Cream” and “Birch” across the recycled leather uppers.

On the lateral and medial sides, fluffy fake fur lining runs along the tiger stripes, while soft gold branding shows on the tongue tab and heel flaps. Bright red OrthoLite™ insoles with mismatched “20” and “23” accents complete the design.

The kids version has an additional velcro strap, while the toddler pairs are slip-on. All pairs come in unique packaging inspired by red pockets, which includes a red shoebox coated in gold foil accents.

The Onitsuka Tiger Lunar New Year Edition Mexico 66 sneakers are currently available in family sizes via the Onitsuka Tiger website and retail locations. Prices range from $90 and $190 USD.
