Patta & Nike Link Up For A New Apparel Capsule

Continuing its fruitful relationship with Amsterdam label Patta, Nike keeps spoiling us with more gear, this time the collaboration with Patta brings us the “Publicity. Publicity. Wohooooow!” capsule. Complemented by a checker-print motif and bold typefaces, inspired by the signage at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport. According to Nike, the pieces were chosen “as a way to mix technical elements with classics.”

Alongside the apparel capsule, Nike has fused the Air Max 90 and the Air Max 95. The sneaker features the upper from the Air Max 90, which sits atop the technical Air Max 95 midsole unit. The Air Max 90 x 95 comes in a black upper, which is offset by a dark orange Swoosh and neon yellow tongue label. A second colorway will see the sneaker wrapped in a dark blue upper, complete with red Swoosh and white midsole.

“The Air Max 90 is a robust classic, and the 95 has always felt like a futuristic design; combining both forms a mix between classic and more technical design,” said Patta’s Vincent Van de Waal.

The collection will drop on Patta’s online store and Patta flagships in London and Amsterdam on October 20, and will arrive on Nike.com a week later.
