Both Ripstop and canvas fabrics run replete throughout the upper in quarters, separated by strips of dark taping — the latter a possible nod to repairs often done to cracked ground. In the middle, the strips intersect at the signature All-Star logo whose usual graphic flair is stitched over by textured fabrics.
Elsewhere, toe caps and midsole walls are treated ordinarily in white while the outsole hides map prints and the tongue touts “Los Angeles 2020… Dedicated to those forever unbroken.”
