This season, Saucony Originals relaunches its iconic Shadow 5000 model with a mix of high-quality materials assembled by Italy’s heritage artisans.
The latest edition will be available in a variety of colorways, with two iterations available exclusively for Fall/Winter 2022.
The versatile Shadow 5000 silhouette is upholstered in a range of locally sourced Italian leathers in a luxury take on the American original. The main overlays of the sneaker are made of polished leather hide, while the toe box and back heel are framed in brushed suede. Underneath, a strong yet breathable mesh is sewn together in different tonal variations across the body.
Saucony’s logo is embossed alongside a ‘Made in Italy’ hallmark on the tongue, completing the sneaker with subtle detailing. For the new season, the brand introduces the Shadow 5000 in two colorways: versatile “Navy/White” and more earthy “Forest Green/White.” Take a closer look at the images in the gallery above.
