Sony Develops New Noise Canceling Earbuds for Long-Haul Travellers

Sony has released its latest noise-canceling WF-1000XM3 earbud model. The model features a 24-hour battery life with the noise-canceling mode on and 36-hours with it off.

Aimed at travelers Sony’s new earbuds feature a Quick Attention, which lowers the volume and lets more ambient noise in with a single tap. Also, the earbuds are packed with sound-improving functions such as the Digital Sound Enhancement Engine HX, which should upscale compressed and MP3 files to HD-quality.

Sony also treated the earbuds a quick charge function, which means, a 10 minutes of charging can last up to 90 minutes of listening, as well as a voice assistant capabilities and customizable touch controls.

Although, the earbuds do not have a waterproof rating against sweat, nor will they stay in place when you go for a run, the WF-1000XM3 is a premium alternative to other Bluetooth earbuds available on the market, which is reflected in its $230 USD price point.
