Teddy Santis and his team at Aimé Leon Dore have done it again, folks. Following their successful 860v2 collection, the New York-based streetwear label has teamed up with New Balance once again to unveil their latest creation: a fresh take on the iconic 1906R runner.
ALD has kept the overall shape and materials of the classic silhouette intact, but has infused it with their signature brand accents. The sneaker features a deep forest green hue on the rear end’s heel cage, toe box overlays, and N logos, while the reflective quarter panel overlays boast brighter doses of green.
The base layer is constructed from breathable mesh in a creamy color, and regal gold borders the side panel New Balance logos. The tongues feature floral icons and co-branded hits stamped on the insoles, paying homage to both brands.
Sneakerheads worldwide can get their hands on these bad boys via New Balance on May 4th for $170 USD. Get ready to add another ALD x New Balance masterpiece to your collection.
