Jordan Brand is set to bless fans with a slew of new sneakers to sport throughout the Spring/Summer season. The Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT “Breakfast Club” colorway, which pays homage to iconic street basketball courts, is set to appear in the near future.
While there is no formal affiliation with John Strickland, this pair is most likely related to his famous “Finish Your Breakfast” slogan, which alludes to hoopers blowing by their defender and scoring off the dribble.
The heels of each shoe are adorned with key embellishments. The right sneaker lists notable streetball courts around the world, from Rucker Park to Venice Beach to Dongdan, while the left shoe features a swirly insignia next to the words “No. 23 While You Sleep.”
Midsoles have also eye-catching design, such as global icons and an alarm clock-inspired time that reads 6:06. The color scheme of the kicks is understated, with the majority of the smooth leather uppers dyed black and the cut-out mesh Swooshes contrasted in black.
For added flair, tiger camo patterns in black and gray appear on the forefoot overlays. The release date for these is still unknown, but they should be available in the coming months.
