With the debut of a pair of retro-inspired 1906Rs, New Balance has expanded its footwear range even more. Retro shoes from all major sneaker brands have seen a surge in popularity in recent years. This time, New Balance is transporting fans to the 1980s and 1990s with a model that first launched in 2010.
Following the release of the red and white colorway, the New Balance 1960R now arrives in white and green. The shoe’s upper is constructed on a white airy mesh basis with leather overlays.
The heel guard is accentuated in light grey, while the remainder of the shoe is built with a cream midsole and a gum outsole for a classic look. Deep green accents enhance the sole and the New Balance “N” branding on the lateral.
The New Balance 1960R in white and green will be available later this year for $150 USD at select shops and online at New Balance.
