One could certainly argue that momentum has never been on New Balance‘s side in the way that it is now. The Boston sportswear label has a stranglehold on the sneaker community, capturing their hearts with eye-catching collaborations and a flurry of versatile GRs.
It is no secret that the brand has gone all-in on the New Balance 550, and this season it is adding this multi-colored entry to the lineup.
The majority of the sneakers have an off-white color scheme. Creamy applications are used on the perforated mudguards, toe boxes, tongues, collars, and laces, while smaller amounts of beige are used on the quarter panels and heels.
The accents here do the majority of the talking. The yellow paint jobs on the N logos, as well as the tiny red hits on the lower end of the throat, immediately draw our attention. From there, various shades of blue are introduced, with a chalky muted version spilling on the rear midsole molds and an aquatic hue peeking out through the front and back ends of the sole units.
