The Salomon ACS Pro Advanced gets “Safari” Makeover

Salomon has recently dominated the fashion industry with its functional aesthetic. The brand has successfully re-positioned itself from being solely performance to a blend of technical detailing and style thanks to notable streetwear partnerships like Palace, runway debuts with brands like Boris Bidjan Saberi and COMME des GARÇONS, and other noteworthy collaborations.

The company launched the ACS Pro Advanced earlier this year as a sneaker with historical roots but a contemporary edge to support this movement.

The ACS Pro Advanced now comes in “Safari,” which features a variety of sand brown tones throughout its trail-ready appearance. A black rubber outsole with All Terrain Contragrip technology and black Quicklace laces that accent this colorway ensure durability on any surface.

The Agile Chassis System (ACS), which provides stability and dampening with each step, is a key component of the shoe. A medial protective pad, single layer mesh, a lace pocket for the Quicklace lacing system, and a molded OrthoLite sockliner round out this technical sneaker that is made for both the streets and the trails.

The Salomon ACS Pro Advanced “Safari” is expected to hit shelves via Salomon and select retailers later this year at a price of $230 USD.
