Back in September, the artist teased his upcoming collaboration by wearing his collaborative pair to an AEW wrestling match. After a few months, he’s now taken to Instagram to give us a first look at the couple.
Action Bronson collaborated with the popular sportswear company on a wild New Balance 990v6 makeup for this initiative. He’s taken the “dad shoe” and spruced it up with a multi-colored orchestration to match his upbeat personality.
Uppers are made from a variety of materials and colors, including volt mesh backdrops, brown leather quarter panels, murky olive mudguards, and purple and pink hiking laces.
Tongues replace their traditional New Balance moniker with a “Baklava” hit that alludes to his recently launched digital marketplace, Baklava Flea Market. ENCAP-cushioned bottoms in various shades of blue add to the playfulness.
New Balance has confirmed a release date of 2023.
