This Upcoming Nike Air Kukini Is Dressed Up In Neutral Tones

Each year, Nike takes the opportunity to reintroduce a classic silhouette to a new generation by releasing a plethora of colorways. The Air Kukini is getting its time in the spotlight this year, and its latest cream and gray iteration has just made its way onto our radar via official imagery.

The archival sneaker from 1999 uses a two-toned neutral color scheme here. The upper layers of canvas have been treated with a creamy coating and are paired with smooth gray leather overlays across the front ends, tongues, and heels.

The model’s signature spider web-esque TPU cage that sprawls across the entire base is the most enticing — and arguably the most obscure — feature, and it ushers in slightly more contrasting as it is formed with a milky tint. The Air-cushioned sole unit is finished with off-white midsoles and a gray outline that surrounds its exposed heel bubble beneath all of that.

Nike did not confirm when these will be available, but in the meantime, check out the gallery above for a closer look. The retail price will be $135 USD.
