Union LA is thrusting itself back into the spotlight with the release of its newest “Future Is Now” collection with Jordan Brand, fresh off the heels of completing the releases for its Dunk Low “Passport” Pack. For this collection, Chris Gibbs and his team have chosen to highlight the Air Jordan 2, with collaborative slides and apparel to go along with it.
Union was tasked by the Beaverton-based sportswear giant to imagine what a future utopia might look like, so it chose to highlight individuals and organizations based in Los Angeles who are working toward that goal. The Air Jordan 2 “Grey Fog” and “Rattan” colorways, inspired by flight jackets and pants and adorned with Union tabs, have been prepared by the LA-based streetwear retailer.
Nylon cardigans and pants, cozy pullover hoodies, crewnecks, sweatpants, tees, socks, shorts, and hats are also included in the mix, as well as collaborative apparel that includes nylon cardigans and pants, cozy pullover hoodies, crewnecks, sweatpants, tees, socks, shorts, and hats.
Union LA will raffle off the kicks to LA residents only from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. EDT on April 9 and 10. On April 10, the winners will be announced. The kicks will retail for $225 USD at retail.
