adidas has put a lot of effort into its running category in order to create a premium line for long-distance runners. The Adizero Adios Pro has been one of the most popular silhouettes, and its latest 3.0 version has just been officially announced.
This latest offering is designed for those with a “need for speed,” according to the German sportswear label.
The overall low-cut shape is very similar to its predecessors, but there are significant technological improvements. Two layers of Lightstrike Pro foam provide a bouncy, cloud-like ride, while Energyrods 2.0 technology provides stability and responsiveness.
The “Core Black/Beam Yellow/Solar Green” colorway is the first for the marathon-ready model. The former color scheme covers the majority of the surface area, while “Beam Yellow” and “Solar Green” accents are embedded in gradient form into the forefoot’s oversized stripes. The semi-chunky midsole units have a clean white finish.
These are set to release on June 23 for $220 USD.
