adidas Teams Up with Latin American Icons for Home of Classics Campaign

In a vibrant tribute to community, heritage, and boundless creativity, adidas has joined forces with a group of influential Latin American creators as part of their Home of Classics spring/summer 2023 campaign. Mar Mejia, Juan Moore, Percy Pls, and Pablito Pesadilla—pioneers in their respective fields—were handpicked to infuse the timeless classics like the Superstar, Gazelle, Stan Smith, and Forum with their distinct LATAM flair.

Hailing from Colombia, the talented musician Mar Mejia effortlessly merges her love for fashion, makeup, and lifestyle with the sleek style of the adidas Forum. Recognizing the silhouette’s rich heritage, Mejia embraced it as her personal favorite for its timeless aesthetic and incredible versatility.

Juan Moore, a fashion photographer known for his fresh and laid-back style, found his match in the adidas Gazelle. The silhouette’s clean lines, soft materials, and vibrant pop culture background perfectly align with Moore’s vision and artistic sensibilities.

Percy Pls, one of Peru’s most sought-after content creators, challenges gender norms with their unassuming and effortlessly glamorous approach. With their finger on the pulse of queer and Gen-Z culture, Pls gravitated toward the platform version of the Stan Smith silhouette—a refreshing twist on traditional sartorial standards.

No discussion of Chile’s music scene would be complete without mentioning Pablito Pesadilla. As a young DJ and producer collaborating with rising stars across Latin America, Pesadilla’s passion for rap and hip-hop culture naturally resonated with the classic adidas Superstar. Its iconic history and rich heritage perfectly mirror Pablito’s own artistic journey.
