Marvel Studios‘ She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name, has released its first trailer. The comedy follows Jennifer Walters, played by Tatiana Maslany, as she navigates her newly acquired powers and double life as the eponymous She-Hulk.
The two-minute trailer gives a glimpse into Walters’ career as a lawyer who specializes in cases involving superhumans. Her cousin, Mark Ruffalo‘s Bruce Banner/Hulk, is teaching her how to control her new powers in her spare time.
“The transformations are triggered by anger and fear,” Banner tells Walters during their training session.
“I just want to be a normal, anonymous lawyer,” Walter says, cut to news crews gathered in front of her home. Despite her best efforts to remain “anonymous”, Walters appears to be destined to use her abilities for the greater good.
Marvel Studios’ nine-episode series She-Hulk premieres on Disney+ on August 17.
