The Shenzhen-based retailer COSTS has partnered with Saucony to create footwear for its most recent project. The COSTS x Saucony SHADOW 6000 “Black Hole” is inspired by metaphysical thinking. The collaboration expresses how reality and virtual reality are connected in order to transcend three-dimensional space.
The COSTS x Saucony SHADOW 6000 “Black Hole” reinvents the sneaker with oblique black stitching lines that resemble astronomical symbols. Strong cut-outs that highlight the layered overlay design are scattered throughout the shoe’s uppers, which contrast the gray tones and extend across and around one another.
The PVC detailing and exposed padded tongues continue the three-dimensional presentation. Midsole and outsole units that express a sculpted layered effect with various gray tones complete the shoe’s design.
The COSTS x Saucony SHADOW 6000 “Black Hole” will be available in limited quantities on July 2nd exclusively through COSTS and Saucony Tmall official channels.
