Bungie is bringing back the annual Festival of the Lost event for Destiny 2 gamers now that October has arrived. While Bungie has been tight-lipped about what to anticipate for the time being, many fans are anticipating the Haunted Forest to return. Naturally, there will be lots of Halloween-themed treasure to be found during Festival of the Lost 2021, and fans have gotten a first glimpse at a Day of the Dead-inspired Ghost shell, a collaboration between Bungie and artist Luis Miguel Yepez Franco.
Bungie is introducing new challenges to Destiny 2 during the reset next week, in addition to the return of the Haunted Tower. The weekly Shattered Realm runs will be updated with a new Legendary difficulty modifier, though Bungie isn’t explaining what this implies. What players do know is that this action must be completed at least once in order to acquire the Realmwalker title.

Where is Xur?
This weekend, Destiny 2 players can find Xur on his usual cliff inside of the Winding Cove on the EDZ.
Travel to the Winding Cove zone and immediately proceed to the back, where the Fallen usually patrol. Climb the cliffs back here to locate Xur standing on a ledge beside a sunken ship.
Class Armor and Exotic Cypher
Xur’s role has grown in Season of the Lost, as the exotic merchant now offers weekly missions, exotics, and legendary gear. These missions are required not just to purchase a second fated engram, but also to get legacy exotic items at the Tower kiosk. By completing strikes and winning crucible or gambit bouts, players can obtain a new cypher. Earn extra points by playing with your clanmates or completing more difficult activities.
With Season 15, Xur is selling even more stuff in addition to his normal material. Xur now sells Legendary Weapons and Armor in return for Legendary Shards and Glimmer, in addition to his usual exotic gear. Even better, the stat rolls on the Black Armor armor for this week are very strong.
