Discord Is Finally Coming to Xbox Consoles

Discord group voice chats have been available for PlayStation users for more than a year, but fortunately for Microsoft‘s systems, the app is now finally coming to the Xbox family.

All three of the current consoles—the Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S—will be able to use the feature.

Xbox Insiders will have access to it right away, and the rest of you will have access to it “in the coming weeks.” With the right integration, you will also be able to join your friends’ voice chats while using your Xbox while they are using a PC or a mobile device.

It is easy to enable the feature; just press the Xbox button, select Parties & Chats, and select Try Discord Voice on Xbox. You will see a QR code that, when scanned, will connect your Discord account to your Xbox gamer tag.

Xbox added that “While you are playing on your console, you will be able to see who is in the call and speaking. You’ll also be able to adjust the sound, and switch between Discord Voice and Xbox game chat.”
