The sportswear giant has celebrated these milestones with a number of thematic launches, including the 35th anniversary of the Air Max 1 and Jordan Brand‘s 25th year of operation in China. Jordan Brand has announced a “25 Years in China” capsule for 2022 as a follow-up to its 20th anniversary celebration in China in 2017.
An Air Jordan 12 Low surfaced earlier this month, and now the Jordan Zion 2, Zion Williamson‘s newest signature shoe, has joined the lineup. The Jordan Zion 2 “25 Years in China” colorway features a black and white color scheme with thematic accents. The signature forefoot strap and other black overlays are present on the white base.
The black overlays feature iridescent patterning, similar to the Air Jordan 12 Low “25 Years in China,” while the heel and tongue feature silver accents for branding. This look is court-ready thanks to the all-black sole unit, which features Zoom Air technology and emphasizes cushioning at the heel for harsh landings.
The Jordan Zion 2 “25 Years in China” release date has yet to be announced. However, Jordan Brand plans to release it, as well as the other “25 Years in China” sneakers, later this year through and select retailers.
