Nike introduce Air Jordan 1 Mid in a Fresh “University Blue” Colorway

In 1985, Nike made history with the Air Jordan 1. Even the Swoosh could not have predicted the variety of styles the sneaker would don over the years and how well they would hold up.

In addition to the colorways and partnerships on the classic high-top silhouette, other variations of the shoe, including the Air Jordan 1 Low, Air Jordan 1 KO, and Air Jordan 1 Mid, have all become well-known while maintaining the original’s DNA.

The University of North Carolina’s colors, “University Blue,” are now incorporated into the Air Jordan 1 Mid’s classic design. An ordinary white leather upper has “Carolina Blue” and gray suede overlays near the heel.

While the mesh tongue chooses white, the Swooshes are also bright blue. The sole unit features a continuation of this color combination with white touching the midsole and blue covering the outsole, completing the style.

The Air Jordan 1 Mid “University Blue” has not yet been given a release date, but it is anticipated to go on sale for $120 USD very soon via Nike and select retailers.
