Moncler is back with another sartorial spectacle, this time joining creative forces with Pharrell Williams for a collection that’s nothing short of puffed-up perfection. Pharrell, a longstanding friend of the Italian luxury house, previously collaborated with Moncler on a line of men’s jackets in 2009. Now, he’s solidifying his place in the Moncler family with this latest collection.
Picture a palette that dances between slate gray, moss green, lichen, and cloud. This collection is all about the art of “glamping,” where outdoor adventures take on a refined, luxurious twist. Luxe textiles take center stage, marrying functionality with opulence. Down padding creates curvilinear silhouettes, pyramid points define jackets, and the collection’s vest steals the spotlight with its three-dimensional diamond quilting.
Transformation is the name of the game here. Long trousers effortlessly zip into shorts, duvet blankets cleverly morph into capes, and jackets seamlessly transform into fisherman’s vests. What’s more, removable pockets and detachable logo patches invite wearers to customize each piece to their heart’s content.
