A Kind of Guise has unveiled its new campaign for Fall/Winter 2022, which takes a look at the rural Rocky Mountain state of Colorado.
The Germany-based label, known for its heavy-set yet contemporary outerwear pieces, has been keeping busy this season with regular flurries of sustainable garment releases made from recycled materials and non-toxic chemical dyes.
This was most evident in its “Road to Nowhere” collection, which was inspired by cross-country routes and driving between roadside diners, truckstops, and Rocky Mountain landscapes.
A Kind of Guise presented a slew of imagery that documented the trip, and a journey with no final destination in mind, in keeping with the theme of the “Road to Nowhere” collection.
A Kind of Guise connected with fellow travelers and quirky characters who shared stories, laughed, and experienced the overarching beauty of Colorado, from untouched nature in the most remote locations to busy pubs full of Rocky Mountain locals.
The backgrounds and life experiences of each encounter were distinct, and this distinction is reflected in the new A Kind of Guise editorial campaign, as well as the brand’s clean-cut garments such as cashmere-merino knitwear, virgin wool fabrics, and high-neck silhouettes.
