Leica collaborated with HODINKEE to release the Leica M10-P “Ghost Edition” in 2019. Following the model’s success, the two have teamed up once more for another collaboration, this time featuring two variants of the Leica Q2 model—the Leica Q2 “Ghost” by HODINKEE and the Q2 “Ghost” Set by HODINKEE.
The HODINKEE Leica Q2 “Ghost” pays homage to the brand’s iconic “Ghost Bezel” diving watch with a timeless yet elegant design. The camera is dressed in gray leather inspired by the watch’s rare gray bezel, with the top cover and lens distinguishing themselves from the body in a lighter gray.
The iconic red Leica logo is also missing to complement the model’s seamless and discrete design. The Q2 “Ghost,” like the M10-P “Ghost Edition,” comes with a round-woven gray yarn carrying strap with a stable key ring binding.
The Q2 “Ghost” Set, on the other hand, is only available in a limited quantity. It differs from the previous variant in that its top cover is now imprinted with Leica lettering, as well as two additional engravings in the display glass that indicate its batch number to emphasize exclusivity. Furthermore, the set includes a silver thumb rest, a matching carrying strap, and authenticity certification.
The Leica Q2 “Ghost” by HODINKEE will be available in Leica stores and online beginning December 8 for $5,795 USD. While HODINKEE’s Q2 “Ghost” Set is available exclusively on HODINKEE’s official website for $5,995 USD.
