The NBA, League of Legends, and FIFA have all partnered with Louis Vuitton to lend their touch to various trophy-centered collaborations.
This year, it is adding to its long-term partnership with the Automobile Club de Monaco (ACM), which was formed just last year, by producing a special trophy case for the Formula 1 Grand Prix de Monaco.
The trophy was handcrafted in LV’s traditional workshop just outside of Paris to commemorate the 79th edition of the annual racing event. To mimic the colors of Monaco’s flag, the French luxury fashion house uses its classic monogram pattern and drips it in a bold red hue against a black backdrop.
The case is adorned with a large red and white “V” that serves as a symbol of victory. It will be presented to the winner of the Formula 1 Grand Prix de Monaco on May 29.
