Louis Vuitton to Showcase Virgil Abloh’s Final Collection

Virgil was here.

As the fashion, art, and entertainment worlds grieve Virgil Abloh‘s loss, Louis Vuitton has scheduled an upcoming event in his honor.

The “VIRGIL WAS HERE” runway show for Spring/Summer 2022 will be Abloh’s final collection at the French fashion company. The luxury company will exhibit the designs in Miami in honor of the men’s artistic director and Off-White™ founder.

“In loving memory of Virgil Abloh, Louis Vuitton pays tribute to the life and legacy of a creative genius with a presentation of his SS22 collection in Miami,” LV said in a two-minute teaser film posted on its social media accounts. The video depicts a toddler riding a bicycle around the city, from the beach to a massive red hot air balloon.

The SS22 presentation will be broadcast live on YouTube, Instagram, and Louis Vuitton’s website on November 30 at 5:30 p.m. ET.
