Level, a smart lock firm, has published its Apple-exclusive “Lock+” device online after a soft launch at Apple’s retail locations.
Users can just tap their iPhone or Apple Watch to unlock their home using the Wallet app, which is designed to operate with the “Home Keys” functionality introduced with iOS 15.
The Level Lock + is equipped with a strong BHMA AAA-certified NFC antenna that meets the highest industry safety and durability standards. According to Level, installation takes 15 minutes and just requires a screwdriver, while expressing a recognizable minimalist aesthetic.
It is worth noting that the Home Key feature can be used to open a door even if the device’s battery is dead. The Level app also allows users to share access with guests, set up auto-lock and unlock settings, and create keycards.
The Level Lock+ is priced at $330 USD and is available only through Apple in “Satin Nickel” and “Matte Black” color variants.
