Now, CEO Ola Källenius has revealed more details about when the electric G-Class will be offered to the general public. According to Autoblog, Källenius told members of the media that the special car would be available by the end of 2024.

Mercedes-Benz unveiled a concept version of the EQG in 2021, after initially stating that it would be available in 2025, and Källenius said that an early prototype he evaluated at Mercedes-G-Class Benz’s testing grounds in Graz, Austria, was more than enough.

“Off-roading is now electric,” he told reporters. Mercedes-Benz also intends to make its whole fleet electric by 2030.

For the Mercedes-Benz EQG, an official release date and price range have not yet been released. It is still two years away after all. However, more information about the muscular electric SUV is probably going to come out shortly.
